Love God.
Love People.
Serve Faithfully.
Invite Others into the Process.
This is what we’re about. This is our “vision,” our “mission,” our “purpose”, our “strategy” -(and whatever other organizational statements you can think of)- all wrapped up into one simple statement. We’ve boiled it down to the simplest terms. Everything about discipleship, relationships, prayer life, evangelism, etc, fits into this process.
Our vision takes us to where we want to be. It can also help us stay focused along the way. If a new idea helps us achieve our vision – great! Let’s do it! But if we hold a new idea up to our vision, and it looks like a lot of sideways effort that doesn’t take us anywhere – then it’s something we should pass on as a ministry – even if it sounds like a great idea otherwise. Our vision helps us stay focused and fruitful.
Our vision is also meant to be a repeatable cycle of growth. That’s why we represent it with the recycle-tree graphic. We don’t just move through it once and check things off along the way. It’s what we keep doing. And as we Invite Others, we’re inviting them, not just to a worship meeting, but to this whole process of drawing close to God and becoming the disciples He wants us to be.
Join us in fulfilling our vision – as individuals and as a church – by striving to keep growing through this cycle.
